We created Huisstart because finding a rental home in the Netherlands—especially as an international—can feel stressful, unfair, and heavily dependent on timing. We believe the process should be calmer, more transparent, and far less dependent on being online at the perfect moment.

What Huisstart actually does

Huisstart is an AI Housing Agent that automates the entire rental search and application process for you:

• You simply sign up and complete your profile.
• Our system scans thousands of listings every day.
• Our AI finds homes that match your criteria and automatically applies on your behalf whenever possible.
• You no longer need to refresh websites all day or worry about missing a listing.
• For listings where automated applications aren’t allowed, we save them directly in your profile so you can apply manually and never miss an opportunity.

How it works

1. Create your profile (budget, city, preferences, household details, etc.)
2. Our AI matches you with suitable homes.
3. When a listing allows it, Huisstart applies for you automatically.
4. Listings that require manual action are added to your profile for easy access.
5. Everything works commission free, with no agents or hidden fees.

Inside your profile, you’ll find a personal referral code. When someone signs up using your code:

• They receive €10 in withdrawable credit
• You also receive €10 in credit
